UP4420GB for Structural Bonding is the upgraded modern alternative to legacy structural adhesives. UP4420GB is a two-part methacrylate, flexibilized, structural bonding adhesive designed for the structural bonding of various substrates, including fiberglass, steel, aluminum, and various plastics (not low energy surfaces).
Combined at a ratio of 10:1, UP4420GB has a quicker working time of 3 to 7 minutes (vs UP4420GB-S) and achieves nearly 90 percent of its ultimate strength in 10 to 15 minutes at room temperature curing. UP4420GB is high strength and very flexible bonds to the above reference surfaces. UP4420GB bonds very strongly to steel, stainless steel, and aluminum metals and will allow a great deal of movement of the substrates due to CTE (Coefficient of Thermal Expansion) differences. UP4420GB is manufactured to be sandable, paintable, and with glass beads to ensure end user of optimal bond gap.

It has a Rapid Cure, Superior Bond Strength, Outstanding Impact Resistance, and provides Tough Durable Bonds. It has excellent weathering properties and withstands harsh environments.
