BD4005GR Fast-Set Adhesive is the upgraded modern alternative to legacy structural adhesives. BD4005GR is a two-part methacrylate structural bonding adhesive designed for the structural bonding of various substrates, including fiberglass, steel, aluminum, plastics, gel coats and composites. Contains Glass Beads for superior control of bead thickness between bonded parts.
Suggested uses:
- Challenging Channel Letter assembly
- Cabinet sign frame assembly
- "Go-To" product for most metal fabricated signs to replace welding

Combined at a ratio of 10:1, BD4005GR has a quick working time of 4 to 6 minutes and a fixture of time of 15 to 20 minutes at room temperature curing. BD4005GR provides excellent adhesion and high impact strength on the above reference surfaces with generally no preparation effort and is a great choice for composite assemblies. BD4005GR has high temperature resistance and can withstand baking/powder coating temperatures up to 180C for 60 minutes.
