UP4420GB-S for Structural Bonding is the upgraded modern alternative to legacy structural adhesives. UP4420GB-S is a two-part methacrylate, flexibilized, structural bonding adhesive designed for the structural bonding of various substrates, including fiberglass, steel, aluminum, and various plastics (not low energy surfaces).

Combined at a ratio of 10:1, UP4420GB-S has a longer working time of 8 to 12 minutes (vs UP4420GB) and achieves nearly 90 percent of its ultimate strength in 25 to 30 minutes at room temperature curing. UP4420GB-S is high strength and very flexible bonds to the above reference surfaces. UP4420GB-S bonds very strongly to steel, stainless steel, and aluminum metals and will allow a great deal of movement of the substrates due to CTE (Coefficient of Thermal Expansion) differences. UP4420GB-S is manufactured to be sandable, paintable, and with glass beads to ensure end user of optimal bond gap.

It has a Rapid Cure, Superior Bond Strength, Outstanding Impact Resistance, and provides Tough Durable Bonds. It has excellent weathering properties and withstands harsh environments.
